LeSS Practitioner Training with Michigan Technology Services
Michigan Technology Services offers instructor-led Certified LeSS Practitioner: Principles to Practices training, as well as other Agile and Scrum courses. Our training takes place at our location in the Farmington Hills/Novi area, 20 miles outside of Detroit.
We are pleased to offer you this unique opportunity to learn with Craig Larman—the co-creator of LeSS—in this 3-day highly-participative course. Craig has been named one of the top 20 Agile influencers of all time and is the co-author of several books on scaling lean & agile development with LeSS.
Participants (senior managers, product developers, …) will explore a deep understanding of LeSS, Large-Scale Scrum, for lean & agile development with many teams working together on one product. We explore adoption, new organizational design, systems thinking & optimization, the role of management, and concretely how to work together in a Sprint at scale in terms of coordination, architecture, planning, and more.
Please note: This course runs from 8:30 – 6:00 each day. For certification, full attendance is required.
Critically, we explore the Big Idea of more with LeSS: simplifying & descaling over “scaling”, or… scaling product development by descaling the organization.
Perhaps most importantly and interestingly, this course runs mostly as a series of “at giant whiteboards” deep-thinking exercises involving systems modeling in small teams to explore why, so that people can own the ideas by discovering them for themselves, rather than “renting” the ideas. A focus on why and owning not renting are important elements of LeSS and how it’s learned, and Craig emphasizes this in the course learning experience.
Join Craig Larman for a deep dive into more with LeSS, based on his long experience with LeSS adoptions.
Additional Benefits of taking our LeSS course
After course completion all participants will be a Certified LeSS Practitioner and will get an account on less.works. Here they can find additional information about LeSS, share course information and stay in contact with the other course participants.
The next LeSS Practitioner class in Farmington Hills will be June 22-24, 2020. The regular course fee is $2,699/student, but early enrollment, prior to May 22, is $2,299/student.
