Michigan Technology Services offers instructor-led SharePoint training. We also provide consulting services for corporations looking to implement SharePoint Server or SharePoint Services. The SharePoint training can take place at our location in Farmington Hills, 20 miles outside of Detroit, onsite at your office anywhere throughout the United States, or if you prefer, instructor led live online.

  • SharePoint Server 2016

    • Planning and Administering SharePoint 2016 This five-day instructor-led course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to plan and administer a Microsoft SharePoint 2016 environment. The course teaches you how to deploy, administer, and troubleshoot your SharePoint environment. This course also provides guidelines, best practices, and considerations that help you optimize your SharePoint deployment.
    • Advanced Technologies of SharePoint 2016 This five-day instructor-led course will teach you how to plan, configure, and manage the advanced features in a SharePoint 2016 environment. The special areas of focus for this course include implementing high availability, disaster recovery, service application architecture, and Microsoft Business Connectivity Services. This course also focuses on social computing features, productivity, and collaboration platforms and features. Students also will learn about business intelligence solutions, Enterprise Content Management, web content management infrastructure, solutions, and apps. This course also covers how to develop and implement a governance plan, and how to perform an upgrade or a migration to SharePoint 2016.
    • Introduction to SharePoint 2016 for Collaboration and Document Management
    • Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016 for the Site Owner/Power User This two day class is designed for information workers or power users who serve as SharePoint Site Owners or Site Collection Administrators. Students should take this course if they need to know how to manage the team collaboration, document management and social features of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 sites. This class is an excellent prerequisite to “Microsoft SharePoint Server Content Management for SharePoint 2013 and 2016” and for IT Professionals who work as SharePoint Server Administrators attending Course 20339-1: “Planning and Administering SharePoint 2016”.
    • Microsoft SharePoint Server Content Management for SharePoint 2013 and 2016 This two-day instructor-led is intended for SharePoint Site Owners and Content Owners. In this course, students learn how to configure and use SharePoint’s library content management features.

    • SharePoint 2013 Search for Power Users This one day instructor-led course is designed for information workers or power users who use SharePoint to store and find enterprise content. Students should take this course if they need to know core search features along with the advanced search features, tips and tricks.
    • 2013 Updating Skills for Administrators
    • Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Core Solutions In this 5 day instructor-led course, students learn core skills that are common to almost all SharePoint development activities. These include working with the server-side and client-side object models, developing and deploying features, solutions, and apps, managing identity and permissions, querying and updating list data, managing taxonomy, using workflow to manage business processes, and customizing the user interface.
